Don't Define Me

This body of work derived from an exploration of Realism and representation. I began by exploring the correlation between identity and perceived identity.
The work became interactive with the audience via the labeling we place on someone’s personality based on aesthetics of clothing and appearance.

These labels, however, become distorted when we accept that gender is no longer defined by style. The subjects are in fact members of the public that visited a known gay and transvestite bar.
Such implications are what will allow us to question our interpretation;
The real and the representation.
